Q
:
Is it difficult to get started?
A:
No, you simply insert a couple of lines of html code which we will send you onto the page or pages you would like to have our bannerco-op banner displayed.

Q:
How do I get paid?
A:
Bannerco-op will pay you 10 cents for each click thru for all advertisers supported banners you host.

Q:
How do I earn a full credit each time I host a banner on one or more of my pages?
A:
Each banner measures 500 x 72 pixels. Bannerco-op divides the banner space exactly in half, resulting in two banner ads inside each banner, resulting in two ads which measure 250 x 72 pixels. One of these ads is always a paid advertiser. Quite frequently members also purchase the additional banner ads from co-op. When a visitor to your site clicks on the advertiser sponsor ad, you earn 10 cents.

Q:
When do I get paid?
A:
First, you must not be in violation of any of our very important rules, all designed for the benefit of the membership at large. And you must have the membership icon prominently displayed, conspicuously, anywhere on your home page, and you must be eligible for payment: meaning you have $25 or more due you. Then you will be paid via postal mail within 2 business days of the first business day falling on or after the 15th of each month.

Q:
How do I know how many dimes are due me, and how many credits I have earned?
A:
Easy, visit your stat's page. When your membership application has been approved and your membership established, you will be notified via e-mail of your account name and complete access instructions.

Q:
I'm not a U.S. resident, can I still be a member?
A:
Absolutely. Please join us. We accept members from all countries. The beginning of each month we'll send you a check for sums due, and if you're concerned about bank fees, conversion expenses, just open a U.S. money account at most commercial banks.

Q:
Why is the Co-Op so insistent on members carrying the Co-Op Icon?
A:
Hey Ok! You really pinned us down on that one. We believe it is to the benefit of everyone, that is the Co-Op and every member to have as many members as possible. More members means more places for your banner ad to be seen, thus improving the chances of qualified click thrus. The more members we have, the faster we can serve any "clicks" you purchase. And here's the real biggie - More members means more moolah with little additions to our overhead, which means lower costs to you for the purchasing of clicks and other services we offer. However, you can join us as an associate and not carry the membership icon.

Q:
How long will it take to deliver the clicks I purchase?
A:
That depends on two things. (1) Network Activity and (2) The size of your purchase. Generally speaking all click purchases will be delivered within 30 to 60 days from date of purchase, and spread fairly evenly over this time frame.

Q:
Why would I offer my visitors a chance to leave my site, by hosting other advertisers?
A:
They're going to leave your site anyway. Studies show if a visitor is interested in your site, they will stay until they're satisfied and then jump off. If they are not interested they'll jump off right away. In either event you may as well get some extra credit for their visit, ie: 1 to 1 plus maybe some cash if they click on any paid ad.

Q:
What's the difference between an impression and a click thru?
A:
Most ad agencies and ad exchanges offer to sell only banner ads on an impression (meaning each time your ad is seen on a web page) basis, and almost always on a (cpm) cost per one thousand (1000) basis. That's all well and good, and that's how the founding members of the co-op started. We learned quickly however the advantages of purchasing ads on a click thru basis. It no longer matters who sees the ad, how many times it shows, or how many dollars you might have to waste in order to get your desired level of new visitors in exchange for your hard earned advertising budget. When you purchase click thrus you pay only for results, not hopes.

Q:
My sub-URL is at a mirror site for an associate program I'm involved in. I have no control over additions or adjustments to this mirror site that has been created for me. How should I approach the affiliate program administrators?
A:
Simple. Just contact the administrator of your favorite program, invite them to examine www.bannerco-op.com, and point out to them the benefit of the 1 to 1 exchange. They should be delighted to simply install the code necessary at your mirror site to host the icon as well as the co-op's sponsored ads. After all, they'll know you're a serious marketer and each new visitor you get only increases their chances of profiting also.

Q:
The banner supplied by the Co-Op doesn't seem to fit well with the overall design of my home page and other pages on my site. Any suggestions?
A:
Good question! Yes - just lengthen the page or pages on which you wish to install the Co-Op supplied code. So, the banner always appears as the last item on your page. With a scroll bar, your visitors will almost always scroll down to view it.

Q:
Why don't you use a "standard" size 468x60 banner?
A:
Response, response, & more response. According to our testing and studies by ASI Interactive, larger banner ads have flat out-performed their counterparts by as much as 44%. And, even recall is improved by as much as 45%. You'll want this improved response & recall for your banner and also to earn more 10 cent click-thru credits.
